A few weeks ago, the release date forShin Megami Tensei Vwas leaked for a release sometime inNovember2021.This date has just been confirmed via the e3 Nintendo, andShin Megami Tensei Vhas been officially announced to be launching exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2025.
That said, there’s a ton to be excited about with this new release for a series old as time, with theMegami Tenseirelease back in the late 80s. For example, demon fusion will once again play a major role in the game, whereas players will be once able to merge the various demons they come across to forge new ones.

Along with that, the fifth game in the series will once again take place in the alternative dimension of post-apocalyptic Tokyo japan, previously seen in past games such asShin Megami Tensei 3.
Shin Megami Tensei Valso appears to have a brand new combat system, that features a brand new combo system that will increase as you target the weak points of demons. You will also be able to again negotiate with demons while in combat to get them to flee or join your party.
