Tribes of Midgard is getting a Mid Saga Update that adds a whole host of new items and features to the game. The first of which is two brand new boss variants of Fenrir called the Wolfmancer and Doomhowler.
Each of these bosses will have unique abilities and strengths as well. But new bosses are not the only thing being added; five new cosmetic sets have also been added that will start rotating through the item shop with the V1.K1.NG set being first.
The rest of these skin sets will arrive later in October, with the first being the Monkey King set will appear. The Monkey King set will include a full armor set along with five weapon skins. New Runes are also a new feature, and a total of five of them are being added with the recent update for Tribes of Midgard. Here’s the full list of all of them listed below and what they do.
When does The Valhalloween event Start in Tribes of Midgard?
The Valhalloween Event will start in Tribes of Midgard on the 12th of October, and with it, three new skill sets will arrive and enter the store rotation.
The new skin sets will also include A Linnorm costume, Headless Norseman, and Werewolf set. New Enemies have also been added and will include pumpkin goblins and Val Helthings.

Gameplay Changes – Combat/Blessings Update
Armor System Update
We have globally buffed Armor and Shields’ impact on mitigating damage to the player, affecting all tiers of Equipment. Due to this, the Defense rating on Armor and any Runes or Blessings that further buff that Rating will be more noticeable and better at keeping you safe out there in Midgard.
Balance Changes:
Norsfell: We’ve been monitoring the playstyles and emerging meta strategies from the Community since launch, and with the Mid-Saga update we wanted to empower players with a wider variety of suitable options to shake up that meta and add some more diversity to player builds. This included taking a look at some Runes that we felt were not strong enough on their own, leading to the game being harder than anticipated without the ideal Rune setup. The Rune changes below, coupled with the Armor System Update above, should allow for a wider variety of powerful builds to take on the dangers of Midgard with.
