Set 3 for TFT has been teased! There’s not a lot of information about it just yet, but there’s enough to start getting a bit excited about the upcoming big update to the game. We’ll be taking a look at all of the announced, leaked, and general information that we know about it in this post. We will be continually updating this article with all of the new Champions that are revealed as we get closer to the release date.
TFT Set 3 Release Date
The release date for Set 3 in TFT is slated for mid-March 2020. This is a tentative date, and it’s possible there could be delays. It should also be known that Teamfight Tactics is on its way to mobile, and will be available in March as well!
TFT Set 3 Champions
All champions and traits should be listed below! If you see any issues, please let me know in the comments.
Blademaster
Blademasters have a (3) 25% (6) 50% chance on hit to attack two extra times.
Blaster
Every fourth Basic Attack from a Blaster fires additional attacks at random enemies. These additional attacks deal damage like Basic Attacks and trigger on-hit effects.
Brawlers gain bonus Health. (2) 250 Health, (4) 750 Health.
Celestial
All allies heal based on damage Celestial units deal. (2) 12% of Damage Dealt, (4) 30% of Damage Dealt, (6) 55% of Damage Dealt.
Chrono
All allies gain Attack Speed every 4 seconds. (2) 10% Attack Speed, (4) 20% Attack Speed, (6) 40% Attack Speed.
Cybernetic
Cybernetic champions with an item equipped gain (3) 300 health & 30 attack damage (6) 800 health & 80 attack damage.
Dark Star
When a Dark Star dies, it gives increased damage and previous stacks of this effect to the nearest ally Dark Star. (3) 30% Increased Damage, (6) 50% Increased Damage.
(2) Demolitionist’s spells stun for 2.5 seconds.
Infiltrator
Passive: Infiltrators jump to the back of enemy territory at the start of combat. Infiltrators gain 50% Attack Speed for the first 6 seconds of combat. (2) Bonus Active, (4) Bonus Active and refreshes on takedown.
Mana-Reaver
Mana-Reaver’s Basic Attacks increase the Mana cost of their target’s next spellcast by 40%. (2) First Attack each Combat (4) All Attacks
Mech Pilot
(3) At the start of combat, three Mech-Pilot champs are merged into a Super Mech until it dies.
Mercenary
Mercenaries can be paid gold to upgrade their ability. (2) 40 Magic Resist, (4) 120 Magic Resist
Mystic
Grants the team bonus Magic Resist. (2) 40 Magic Resist, (4) 120 Magic Resist.
Protector
Protectors gain a shield scaling off max health for 3 seconds whenever they cast. (2) 15% Max Health Shield, (4) 35% Max Health Shield
Rebel
At the start of combat, Rebels gain a Health Shield for 8 seconds and Increased Damage for each adjacent Rebel. (3) 125 Health Shield and 10% Increased Damage, (6) 200 Health Shield and 15% Increased Damage
Sniper
(2) Snipers deal 10% increased damage for each hex of distance between themselves and their target.
Sorcerer
All allies gain (2) +15% (4) +40% (6) +120% increased Spell Power.
Space Pirate
Whenever a Space Pirate lands a killing blow there is a chance to drop extra loot. (2) 50% for 1 Gold, (4) 50% for 1 Gold and 10% for a Basic Item
Star Guardians
Whenever a Star Guardian casts their spell, distribute (3) 20 mana (6) 30 mana among all the other Star Guardians.
Starships continuously circle the arena and cannot basic attack.
Valkyrie
(2) Valkyrie attacks and spells always crit targets below 50% health.
Vanguard
Vanguard champions gain bonus Armor. (2) 60 Armor, (4) 200 Armor
