OurDeathrattle Rogue Deck List Guidetakes a look at this potential deck from the Saviors of Uldum expansion. It features an early look at this possible archtype that uses Anka, the Buried to generate some cheap costing Deathrattle cards that can overrun your opponent!
This is a different style of Deathrattle Rogue then it has been in the past. Normally, it’s more of a midrange deck that tries to abuse the synergy to overrun your opponent with value minions that are hard to get off the board. This version, however, uses the new Anka, the Buried to lower the cost of the minions in your hand and allows for some very powerful turns. We utilize Witchwood Piper to get the Anka into our hand more often, which makes it more like a combo deck.
Deathrattle Rogue Deck List
This is the deck listDogcame up with during the theorycraft livestreams. It is likely to go through some additional changes in the days to come, but it’s a fairly solid list to try out.

Situational Keeps
Only keep these if you already have Anka or Witchwood Piper in your hand.
General Gameplay Tips
Now, just because you haveAnka, the Burieddoesn’t mean you should immediately play it the first chance you get. You’re going to want to at least have a couple of good Deathrattles in your hand. Try to hold off from immediately playing it to cycle through your deck with cards likeShivandFan of Knives.Witchwood Pipercan also be used for this purpose if you’ve already hit the Anka.
Look to hold ontoShadowstepif possible to pair with Anka. Your first usage of the card might not be enough to just win the game outright. If you can hit an Anka on the Octosari, you can then fill up your hand and play Anka again for an additional wave of cheap Deathrattle minions.
Anubisath Warbringeris one of the main cards you want to hit with your various Deathrattle synergy cards. You play this card first, and then you trigger the Dearthrattle withNecrium Blade,Necrium Vial, or evenBackstabit if you have to. We don’t want this card to be silenced, so try to trigger it right away! Mechanical Welp is another great one to hit with those cards.
Shadow of Deathmight not make the cut in future versions of the deck, it’s unclear how valuable it is right now. It is good with your Deathrattles, and it also pairs really well withOctosariif you can get it on the board. The card could potentially give you additional power against more control based decks that will be able to clear your board.
Other Card Choices
The most limiting factor to this deck right now is that there’s flat out not a lot of good high cost Deathrattle cards! Remember, we’re limited because we want to consistently be able to draw Anka, and we can’t have any minions lower cost than it or we won’t be able to use Witchwood Piper effectively. There’s really nothing usable outside of what’s already in the list.
As I mentioned above, I think the most replaceable card isShadow of Death. The problem, however, is that there really isn’t much to replace it with at the moment.Violet Hazehas a slight bit of potential, but there’s a lot of bad Deathrattle cards out there so it would be really random if you actually got something good!
If you’re missing any of the higher rarity Deathrattle cards, I would just double up some of the cheaper ones that are currently singleton. That right now isKhartut DefenderandDeranged Doctor.
