The fact that it is local time means that no matter where you are in the world, the Raid Hour will start at exactly 6pm. Depending on where you are, you may get to join in on the raid hour before anyone else!

Because Mega Pokémon are rarely used, we opted not to include them in the list of the best counters.
Zacian and Darkrai are probably the best options to go with on the list above since they have better resistance to Giratina’s attacks. If you don’t have any of the Pokémon above, it’s strongly recommended to go with a Fairy-type Pokémon or a Dark-type Pokémon.
