Changing your display name in the recently-releasedKnockout Cityis more complicated than it should be, but we’re here to make sure that your embarrassing old nickname gets replaced by a new moniker so you’re able to make the most of your gameplay. While it seems apparent that name changes should be available in Origin, this actually isn’t a viable option. Neither, apparently, is navigating through the profile settings of the EA official website. So what now?

To change your nameinKnockout City, you’ll need toopen the newEA Desktop launcher(again:notOrigin, for some reason). Click on your name in thetop right cornerof this application and go toProfile, then clickEdit Profile. Here, you can update your nickname to whatever name you want displayed inKnockout City. Don’t forget to pressDoneto save your changes.
Until EA streamlines its settings systems, the EA Desktop launcher seems to be the only available method of updating your display name in video games. If this process changes, we’ll be sure to let you know.
