In the words of Ashley Burch—Tiny Tina herself—the game is a “high fantasy take on a looter shooter.” Despite the obvious traces back toBorderlands, Burch assures us thatTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis its own standalone game and can be enjoyed by both newcomers and veterans of theBorderlandsseries.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandscontains all kinds of exciting features, from spell-casting to character customization. According to Burch, Tina not only guides the game’s narrative, but will freely change it on a dime if she so pleases. Sounds chaotic—just how we like it.
The ultimate goal inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis to defeat the Dragon Lord, whose identity is purposely being kept a mystery for now. Hopefully we’ll get to find out who this arch-nemesis of Tina’s is before 2022, when the game is set to release.
