Voice chat inCoreis set to default aspush to talk. The default key for this is set asY. By pressing the push to talk key you can talk in game only when you need to. Other settings aretoggle to talkanddetect talking. You can switch between party voice chat where only those in it can hear you or to general where all players can hear you. The default setting for voice channels is set to party. When using voice chat, you will see a speaker icon appear next to your name or whichever player is speaking.

Corehas many options forvoice chatas well. In the audio categories in the settings menu, you can change various aspects. You can change voice chat volume and microphone volume. You can change your output and input device as well. If you do not want to talk, you can also disable voice chat all together.
