If you are to stand a chance against the hordes of creatures inValheim,you will need armor; leather armor is a good place to start, so here is how to get it.

How to get leather armor in Valheim

To make leather armor, you will need a total of 22 deer hides and five bone fragments. You can get the deer hides from deers roaming both black forests and meadows and bone fragments from skeletons that spawn in both swamps and inside and outside of burial chambers.

That said, here is everything you need to make for the full set; you will also need to use thesame resourcesto upgrade each piece of armor five times.

Once you got all of the above resources, you will need to make your leather armor inside a level twoworkbench; you can craft aworkbenchwith ten wood.

How to hunt deers inValheim

You will need to hunt deers to get deer hide inValheim;however, doing so can be a little easier said than done. This is because if you make the smallest noise, deers will take off running, and it can be a pain to catch up to them, let alone trying to fire a bow at them.

Due to this, we suggest trying to sneak up on dear and kill them with an upgraded weapon of some kind like a tier 3 flint axe, as doing so should take a deer down within one hit; we also recommend trying this method until you get a better bow or get better shooting one.

How to kill skeletions inValheim

Unlike deer, killing skeletons is surprisingly a more straightforward task, as they run at you, swinging; you’ll still need to be careful and pick the right weapon to take them down.

So far, we feel upgraded clubs and maces are the way ago; we also had great success with bronze atgeirs+. You can also combine using a decent shield to stagger the skeletons when they swing and attack at you; this will allow you can quickly return the favor and kill them faster.
