Players can cook and make food at thekitchenslocated in any major towns throughout New World. you may find these stations by looking for the kitchen icon on your map. Any food item can be crafted here, provided you have the necessary ingredients and skills.
Some food items may also be blocked due to the cooking station’s level, which is upgraded by the company that controls the territory.
You can also cook some select items at the campsite to set up as a respawn point out in the world. While not offering most of the same items as the kitchen, you can craft arguably some of the most important meals:rationsandmeals, which give you a small buff to health regeneration for thirty minutes. These will be invaluable in your travels through New World, and because they are easy to make, they offer a great way to level up your cooking skill.
Where to find ingredients?
You can find ingredients for cooking items all throughout New World. Meat likepoultryorvenisoncan be found by hunting and skinning animals liketurkeyandelk. You can also find meat by killingpigsandcowsthat you find on various farms throughout the world, like theOlcott Family Farm in EverfallorCooper’s Ranch in Windsward.
you may find other ingredients on these farms like carrots and potatoes, so be sure to harvest them during your adventures. Beyond these farms, be sure to keep an eye out for ingredients like berries and herbs as you traverse the forests and plains.
For an easier time finding these ingredients, be sure to level up yourskinningandharvestingskills. Once you reach an appropriate level, animals and harvestable plants will appear on the compass at the top of your screen. This will make tracking them down much easier.
Cooking is an important skill in New World, allowing you to craft meals that heal you or provide buffs to stats or other skills. Be sure to collect all the ingredients you can and bring them to a kitchen in town where you can whip up some delicious dishes.
