Alectos the Relentlessis the first major boss in Starstone Barrows, the expedition located inEverfall. If you dodge his arcane orb attacks and kill the skeletons he summons, you should have no trouble beating this skeletal mage.
Where to find Alectos in Starstone Barrows
Alectos will be waiting for you after passing through theHalls of the CryptinStarstone Barrows. You’ll have to pass through the various beam puzzles and defeats hordes of enemies to reach him. There is a group of enemies nearby, so be sure to kill them before engagingAlectosand his minions.
How to defeat Alectos the Relentless
Alectoshas several moves that you need to watch out for. Firstly, be sure to kill any skeletons he spawns. He will start the fight with a few at his side and will spawn three more at intervals. Bring them down to keep your group from being overwhelmed by too many enemies.

He will also empower one random minion when he summons a new batch. The empowered enemy will grow in size, have more health, and deal more damage. Watch out for these enemies and kill them as fast as possible.
Alectoswill occasionally launch five purple orbs in a spread pattern in the direction he’s facing. Be sure to dodge these as they will deal large amounts of damage.
WhenAlectosspins his staff over his head, verify to move as far away from him as possible. He will slam the staff down to the ground and do heavy damage to anyone caught in its blast. Anyone who isn’t a tank should avoid this at all costs to take pressure off of the healer.
If you killAlectos’minions and dodge his orbs and AOE attack, you should be able to kill him in no time and make your way through the expedition to the final boss,Greundgul the Regent.
