Pokémon Unitehas been a resounding success, bringing thePokémonfranchise into the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, or MOBA genre, with ease. Players can take control of their favoritePokémonand battle in team-based games. Playing with friends is an essential part of the experience for anyone looking to coordinate, and the game’s friend list is different than that of the Nintendo Switch.
To add friends toPokémon Unite, head to the main menu. Press X to open up the secondary interface and select Friends.Once there, head to friend search. Choose theFriend Searchtab. You’ll need to put the user’s trainer ID in to find them in the game. Users can access player IDs by pressing the left trigger in the main menu. This six-digit code is what allows players to become friends.

To accept a request, head to theFriendstab again and press the+ button. All friend requests can be seen here.
If you’re already friends with a user on Nintendo Switch, press the- buttonto bring up their information in theFriendsSearchmenu to find their account quickly.
