Reported byBloxy Newson Twitter, Apple device owners might encounter a pop-up window letting the user choose between turning on the microphone feature or preventing the feature from operating. This is the standard pop-up Apple devices notify users of when apps and games implement voice chat. The image in the tweet below shows a screenshot from a user runningRobloxon a Mac device.
Bloxy News also followed up the original tweet stating that Android devices may also receive the pop-up similar to Apple users. This report was also confirmed by@Roblox_RTC,stating that users received the microphone notification on iPads and additional iOS devices.

Voice chat, however, is still not functional in the game. Users do not have the option toenable voice chatwithin the platform’s settings, despite receiving the microphone notification. All this pop-up means right now is thatRobloxis perhaps finalizing the steps toward enabling voice chat across the platform. This could mean that voice chat is arriving sooner rather than later, but the company has not announced an official date.
