The eligibility list of what a streamer needs to start making money on their Twitch channel. This starts off with bits, subs, and emotes as an Affiliate with many more perks as a Partner.

All Affiliate Requirements

As it stands, the requirements for becoming an Affiliate are as follows.

After meeting these requirements, the streamer will receive a notification and e-mail inviting them to the Affiliate Program after a few weeks. Clicking on theGet Startedbutton on the Creator Dashboard of Twitch will show streamers how to start monetizing their channel once all the steps are completed.

Partner Requirements

The requirements for Partner seem straightforward but have a few obstacles not listed in thePath To Partnerachievement checklist. The average viewers can’t be boosted from raids, hosts, or front page spotlights and must be independent of the channel. After obtaining Affiliate, streamers can look at their achievements to see the checklist.

Once all the steps are completed, streamers will unlock the ability to apply for Partnership that Twitch will respond to through e-mail. The average time is seven days. However, there may be a long wait for some. Should a streamer face rejection, they can continue applying. There are many reasons for rejection, and the e-mail should reflect some of what may be missing to become a Partner.
